7 weeks going on 8 weeks

Look at this sweet pea! I can't believe she's almost doubled her weight! In just about 8 weeks she went from 4 lbs 10 ounces to 7 lbs 3 ounces.  the lil chubbster loves to EAT sleep and snuggle.

Last Sunday, March 3rd was AK blessing day.  Everyone complemented Jaymes and her beautiful blessing. I remember him saying that she'll be a leader among her siblings.  (I wonder how many siblings she intends on having!! Yikes) 

Mama Longie flew in from Utah and has been such an angel helping with the babes and giving me motherly support :)

I love love weekends when Jaymes and I can take turns doing graveyard shift with baby AK.  She's been known to wake every 3, 2, 1 and seems like 30 minutes!!!! to much and snuggle.  

How could you say no to this chubby face? so sad.

These are the baby lamb baaah that she makes. 

Welcome Baby Aiyana !

Our little angel Aiyana Kiyaanii Longenecker was born at 1am, January 14, 2013.  This

babe wanted to surprise Jaymes and I by coming 7 weeks early!

Here she is, a little puffy holding on to her daddy's finger. . .

Jaymes luckily drove me to Holy Cross Hospital Sunday evening, just in time, I was already ready to go at 8 cm by the time we figured out where to go in the hospital.  Becky was by my side through the whole thing.

Lil Aiyani was so brave through all of her time in the NICU.  Here she is with her blue light  for her jaundiceEven through all of the annoying pokes, feeding tubes and annoying loud alarmes, she still able to give us some sweet smiles :)!

Finally on Thursday, January 31st we were able to bring her home with us! She's still hooked onto an apnea monitor, but at last, she is happy to be with her parents full time! :)

 I can't wait until she grows a little bigger so she can fit into her new born clothes a little better. 

Heather & S came to visit us this past wekeend :) Heather and mom painted and stenciled Aiyana's nursery - it's sooo cool. I'll have to uploaded before and after pictures soon!

It's been so fun with her Auntie's visiting and cousins.  She is so lucky to be born into such a loving family! Can't wait for the rest of you to meet and love her.

Lot's has happened since August of 2011.  Now that I'm having a baby girl sometime close to March 1st, I thought it's time to revamp my BlogSpot! :)

THE RETURN OF ELDER AARON SMITH !!!!

TODAY WE PICK UP BOO BOO FROM BWI !!!! We are all so excited. He is flying home from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Dearest A-train was an excellent missionary, we will miss reading his weekly adventure e-mails :( but will be excited to have him back!
